SAEBO Flex

What is Saeboflex?

Hand function is once again possible

Hands are the chief organs for physically manipulating our daily activities and each hand is dominantly controlled by the opposing brain hemisphere. After a stroke or any neurological injury to brain will results in making a simple activity like grasping a block, gripping a glass totally impossible or too challenging.

Traditionally hand rehabilitation is done with cups, cheap nfl jerseys clay (putty) and those colourful cones and sometimes with some fancy pushing and pulling machines which is really frustrating for the patients for many reasons.

The SaeboFlex is a revolutionary, custom made, non-electrical based and it is purely mechanical device which allows the patient to actively participate in the exercise program.

The SaeboFlex positions the wrist and fingers into extension in preparation for functional activities. The user is able to grasp an object by voluntarily flexing his or her fingers. The extension spring system assists in re-opening the hand to release the object.

Saebo’s pioneering treatment principles are based on the latest advances in neurorehabilitation research documenting the brain’s ability to “re-program” itself through repeated practice, task oriented arm training. The SaeboFlex takes advantage of the most recent research by allowing patients to immediately begin using their hand for functional grasp and release activities. Individuals after many years post neurological injury can benefit from the SaeboFlex. In addition, the ability to use the hand in therapy and at home has been reported as extremely motivating during the recovery process.

This is not assistive device to be worn for day to day daily activities, please note that saeboflex is exercise equipment which is used up to 1 hour on each session to perform unique exercise till achieving hand function
